A Suitable Weapon

Now that you're one of us, let's see if we can get you some decent equipment.

In our fight against the Crimson Army, we've discovered that Anthalon stores much of his necromantic energy in pieces of obsidian, which he uses to control his minions. Surprisingly, these stones also have another use.

When properly forged, this Malevolent Obsidian can be used to craft weapons of great power. In the Crimson Watch, we all carry weapons of this kind.

If you're going to join us, you'll need an obsidian weapon of your own.

To gather the Malevolent Obsidian, hunt down Anthalon's minions in Diamond Shores.

Not every creature you kill will drop obsidian, so it may take some time. But as I'm sure you've noticed, there isn't exactly a shortage of monsters in these parts.

Return to me once you're done, and we'll begin the next stage in constructing your obsidian weapon.
