The Crimson Watch isn't your average fighting force. We go up against strange creatures, and stranger magic. The kind of things they won't believe when you tell them about it back home.

Take the Ghost Menagerie, for instance. A bunch of animal spirits stuck between dimensions, wandering around for the last two thousand years? That's not normal.

I know those bleeding hearts over in Nui's Shield want to protect the Ghost Menagerie, and just kill off any creatures that turn violent. But I don't think we can afford to be that soft.

Anthalon and his necromancers draw power from the spirits of the dead. Leaving a whole mess of ghosts floating just across the bay is a massive risk to our operation here.

These civilians are mostly scholars, sent to study the Ayanad Library. They've never even seen the undead before, let alone fought them. The last thing we need is an army of ghosts attacking our camp in the middle of the night.

If you're really loyal to the Crimson Watch, you'll destroy those spectral creatures and keep this area safe.

The local Nui's Shield agents might not appreciate your little purge, but trust me, it's for the best. We can't afford to give Anthalon even the smallest thing to use against us.
