World Boss Changes
The World Boss Egg system has been reverted. Red Dragon, Kraken, and Hanure the Berserker have returned to fixed spawn schedules.
The experiment is over. The results weren't limited to the feature itself, and we'll be keeping that in mind the next time we're deciding whether to take a risk.
Timer Changes
The timers for the following bosses have been changed:
- Hanure, the Berserker now spawns on Sundays at 3:30 PM (server time). Previous timer was Friday at 5:30 PM (server time)
- Sunday Red Dragon now spawns on Fridays at 5:30 PM (server time). Previous timer was Sunday at 3:30 PM (server time)
Player Feedback Request
The team is interested in hearing player feedback regarding the following subjects, pertaining to bosses:
- Reusing the "egg summoning system" with fixed timers
- Egg appears when boss would have spawned, is up for 30 minutes
- Boss can be summoned by channeling the egg (buffing the summoners)
- Boss timer is reduced to 90 minutes (from current 120) allowing for shorter content windows when summoned early (or same length as today if summoned last second)
- State of OCE Random Bosses (Saturday 5AM server time)
