I long suspected that the curse was related to the four |nn;Sealstones|r in the ruins. These keys do look large enough to fit them; the stones are actually reliquaries.

The four Sealstones represent each of the Harani Ishvaras, symbolizing the curse affecting Karmak throughout all Harani lands. There should be an object in each of them.

Sir Karmak was a knight of Perinoor, but he was strongly opposed to Pavitra's imperialism; he was cursed to remain as an undead guardian of this battlefield.

This armor looks ancient, and very ornate... I'm almost positive it's Karmak's actual armor, used to bind him here.

Empress Pavitra may have been afraid that Sir Karmak would interfere with her son's succession in Perinoor, he was well known as a knight and his opinions went against the royal family.

Although, our research indicates that the curse was designed to trap Sir Karmak for the lifespan of the crown prince. I wonder why he's still kept here?
