I've studied the arcane formulas etched on the orb you found. So far, the only thing I've discovered is that it has something to do with space and time.

Master Belstrom once told me about a great book in Ayanad that contained a wealth of information on such matters.

I believe the title was The Form and Application of Tri-Dimensional Magic. It was written by a wizard named Crazzian.

The book was written in three parts. We know they were kept on the first floor of the library, but all of our searches have turned up empty. If you've found any secret alcoves or hidden rooms during your adventures, I'd look there first.
