Reclaim the Second Floor, Part 1

At first, we were shocked and delighted to find the legendary Ayanad Mages here in the library. But when they attacked us on sight and refused all attempts to communicate, we knew something was wrong.

Some of our best researchers have been examining the enchantments on this place, and they theorize that what we're seeing are actually echoes of the people that died here in the final battle.

The magic that was meant to repair the damage done to the library has somehow been corrupted, and is attempting to "repair" the occupants of the library themselves! Sadly, all it can produce are these simulacrums you see wandering the halls.

Created from the fractured memories and final emotions of the library's defenders, these echoes view any intruders as a threat. We have no choice but to keep destroying them until the library runs out of energy to rebuild them.

With the Crimson Army's agents, these strange simulacrums, and the wild creatures that have taken over this floor, the Libris Garden is a dangerous place. We'll need all the help you can give us if we're ever going to explore these ruins safely.
