At first, it was anger that drove me. I would work myself into a frenzy, waiting on the shore for him to reappear. But each time, he would escape into the sea.

Then it was an obsession. I tried everything: traps, nets, boats. Hell, I even bought a trained shark once. But nothing could kill him.

Then these last few years... I don't know. My heart just isn't in it. I know I should avenge my wife, but... I've known that thing longer than most people. You understand?
