There! I've traced the source of the magic. The amulets belong to a powerful Warlock... the same one that stole the Ocean's Light from Lady Ventla!

Those amulets only work within a very short range. That means the Warlock must be nearby. When you find him, throw this Antimagic Potion at him to disrupt his spells. With any luck, the Achassi will turn on him and help you take him down.

@PC_NAME(0), retrieving the Ocean's Light is incredibly important. Without it, there's no hope of recapturing the Kraken once it is released. Whatever else happens, bring that jewel back to me!

The Ocean's Light... I wish we'd never made the cursed thing. To trap the Kraken's spirit within, one of us had to sacrifice whatever we loved most. Our Seafolk companion, Aidel, chose to give up the sea and walk the land in human form.

At first all was well. But then Aidel and my darling Sideros fell in love. Blinded by jealousy, I used my magic to alter Aidel's memory, convincing her that she was wed to the wealthy Lord Regulus. As for Sideros... I told him she had died.

Overcome with grief, Sideros begged the Nymph Queen to erase his memories of Aidel. But his feelings for her were so strong, the spell failed, and scattered fragments of the girl remained. To this day, he awaits the return of his love whom he cannot name.
