Ember Nymphs lay their eggs in forests and on volcano peaks. The eggs require extreme heat in order to hatch. Swarms of Ember Nymphs are often spotted after forest fires or volcanic eruptions, and decades ago, the creatures were often incorrectly blamed for these catastrophes. Their habit of lighting their souls on fire as a means of defense made them seem even less trustworthy.
